The efficiency of the cleaning was dependent on the belt material, and the efficiency was higher on hard surfaces such as stainless steel than on soft materials such as plastic materials.

However, ultrasonic waves reach areas that otherwise are difficult to clean by manual methods such as in your case sintered filter material. In addition, ultrasonic activity may have a direct inactivation effect on micro-organisms.
